 Do you like to fish? Do you like light tackle fishing at its best? If your answer is yes, then you want to fish with Sierra Anglers Guide Service. We are located in Truckee, CA, just minutes from Donner Lake.
Our custom designed 21 foot Eagle powerboat is equipped with 4 electric Scotty Downriggers, a Lowrance 350A Fishfinder, and a Lowrance 310 Globalnav GPS. The boat is also equipped with a fully enclosed bimini, heated of course, for your comfort.
All rods and reels are provided for you, ensuring that your fishing trip with us will be a memorable one. We welcome family fishing trips with discounts and kids under 16 pay half.

Sierra Anglers Guide Service provides fishing guide services for the following:
- Donner Lake
- Where you can have a chance at a Mackinaw Lake Trout in the 20 plus pound size.
- Stampede Reservoir
- Where trophy Kokanee Salmon and big Browns will fill your limits.
- Eagle Lake
- Troll for even bigger Rainbow Trout.
- PLEASE NOTE: We have expanded our fishing guide service to the Redding area. Guided fishing trips are now offered on the following lakes and rivers:
- Shasta lake, Eagle lake, Stampede, Donner Lake and Lake Almanor. We will also start up guided fishing trips on the Sacramento river upper and lower (trout fishing only) and the McCloud.
- We feel this will give our clients the best experience from their guided fishing trip. All lakes and rivers will be fished when the bite is good. We are still offering the "NO FISH, NO PAY" (except for on fly fishing trips). We welcome your feedback and inquiries on this expansion of our fishing guide service areas.
In Memory of STAR DOG 9-5-93 to 11-4-08
On Tuesday morning at 3:15 AM getting ready to go fishing at eagle lake the
love of my life passed on. .Star dog was the best you can get. I will always
love her. For 15 years Star an I have been side by side. I never went anywhere
without her. This is going to be hard for me. I have never loved anything like I
love Star Dog. I will not be doing any fishing trips for a while....I need some
time .
I LOVE YOU STAR DOG.
